Kidnapped Fishermen Released After Two Weeks

(Beijing) – Twenty-nine fishermen and three boats held by unidentified hijackers have been released after two weeks of captivity.

Unidentified North Korean gunmen operating two naval vessels seized four boats close to North Korean waters on May 8, media reports said. Several days after the hijacking, one of the boats was released. All four vessels were registered in Liaoning Province
