Mother's Photo with Aborted Fetus Causes Uproar

(Beijing) – A woman in Shaanxi province has caused an uproar by posting a photo of her and her fetus online after she said family-planning officials forced her to have an abortion in the seventh month of her pregnancy.

The gruesome photograph has spread across the Internet in China, prompting provincial officials to say they are sending to team to investigate and will "deal with the case seriously in accordance with the law."
