Families of Chongqing Landslide Victims Still Waiting for Answers

(Chongqing) – Three years after a deadly landslide in Chongqing, families of victims are still seeking an explanation for a tragedy which took the lives of 74 people.

On June 5, 2009, a landslide in Wu Long County, Chongqing Municipality killed several dozen mine workers and students. Since then, relatives of the victims say their efforts to find out the cause of the mining accident have all been met with barriers.
