Ming Yang Says No Plan to Buy Vestas

(Beijing) – Chinese turbine manufacturer Ming Yang Wind Power Group Ltd. says it has no plans to buy the Danish wind power equipment maker Vestas Wind Systems.

Late on June 9, Ming Yang sent an email to Caixin, saying: "International development is one of the core strategies of Ming Yang. The company is open to any opportunities that may fuel company growth and enhance value to shareholders. However, there is no plan to acquire Vestas at this stage."
