Han Han's I Want to Talk to the World

Han Han's 2010 novel, "1988: I Want to Talk with the World ," begins as the story of roadtrip across the highways of China through eyes of a young man and slowly reveals itself as a series of vignettes on contemporary society. A play adapted from acclaimed writer and rally driver, the narrator describes major events in China though flashbacks in conversations with strangers.
