(Rio de Janeiro) – The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in June focused on determining a set of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Economist Jeffrey Sachs says a new set of goals should by 2015 replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which were officially agreed upon in 2000.
