Hong Kong comedian and director Jim Chim's adaptation of a play about office drones and adolescent buffoonery comes to audiences in Beijing. Ben Chow is the manager at Mui Fah Yeow, an ointment company populated by frustrated worker bees that incessantly fantasize about being someplace else. Jam-packed with dirty jokes and thin on narrative, the play was also adapted to the silver screen in 2011. When Mui Fah Yeow gets acquired by a mainland Chinese company, the office workers become even more intent on instigating silliness on their new overlords.
