Return My Son

(Jiangsu) – Zhang Caihong just wants to tell her son that she never abandoned him nearly twenty years ago when he was born. While police say her claim that relatives abducted her son will never be heard in courts, Zhang continues to fight for the right to speak to him.

"I never abandoned him, but that doesn't mean I'm not to blame. I just want the opportunity to explain the whole story to him," 45-year-old Zhang said in tears.
