Lawyer Criticizes Report on Police Shooting of Liaoning Man

(Beijing) – A lawyer has cast doubt on a government report about police killing a man who set himself on fire during a property dispute in Panjin, in the northeastern province of Liaoning.

Xinhua reported that the family of Wang Shujie was involved in a dispute with the local government, which wanted to build a road through his family's property in the Xinglongtai District.
