Hard Landing in China Unlikely, IMF Official Says

(Tokyo) – A hard landing in China remains a low probability as growth momentum backed by the domestic market remains strong, says Anoop Singh, director of the International Monetary Fund's Asia and Pacific Department.

"China is not having a hard landing," Singh said during the IMF and World Bank's annual meetings in Tokyo. "Domestic demand in China remains fairly strong and robust."
