Panel of Leaders Urges Global Citizenship

(Tokyo) – A spirit of cooperation and global citizenship is needed as the world looks to the future of globalization amid the economic slowdown, a group of leaders and economists said at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank annual meeting.

Recognizing the interconnectedness of the different countries' economies, panelists at an October 11 seminar urged countries to work together to prevent the slowdown from worsening.
