Organizing an Organ Donation System in China is Complicated Operation

(Beijing) – The Ministry of Health recently drafted a directive that aims to establish a fairer and more transparent way to distribute organs for transplant, along with a national database to organize the process.

The database would be independent from hospital transplant services and be responsible for medical evaluation, data collection, procurement, distribution, transport and the handover to hospitals carrying out transplants.
