China Merchants Securities Cleared for Custodian Services

(Beijing) – China Merchants Securities has been approved by the securities regulator to be a custodian for privately offered securities funds. 

The firm made the announcement on November 28. It is the first brokerage firm to be approved for custodian services to private fund management companies. More brokerage firms are expected to follow.
