Chinese Consumer Brands See Backslide in Image
(Beijing) -- As Chinese companies struggled to build a presence in markets abroad last year, consumer brands faced tougher challenges in positive brand recognition at home.
Roughly one-third of respondents to a survey on China's top 30 brands, considered a company "trustworthy," compared to 50 percent two years ago. The annual survey by market research firms WPP and Millward Brown ranks brand value of the top 50 brands in China by combining financial data with polls among 35,000 consumers.
