Greasing Up a Railroad

(Beijing) – In tracing the tracks of a former state-owned company official, investigators discovered a winding route to construction deals involving millions of yuan in kickbacks and the use of a fake identity.

Luo Jinbao, former chairman of China Railway Container Transport Ltd., went on trial December 24 in a court in Qiqihaer, Heilongjiang Province, on charges of bribery and illegal possession of firearms. The verdict has yet to be announced.
