Certain numbers can offer valuable descriptions of the world. Ang Lee said he was overwhelmed by the number of Oscar nominations his most recent film "Life of Pi" received. That was 11, including the category of "Best Picture." The number four represents how many years Lee took to produce the glimmering 3D epic. One is the spot the film took in mainland Chinese box office earnings at the end of 2012, earning more than it did at U.S. theaters in the span of two weeks.
