Officials Meet to Discuss Security Ahead of Key Meetings

The Beijing party boss, a ministry and several local governments have held separate meetings recently to strengthen security ahead of key meeting of the country's top legislative bodies.

The party secretary of the capital, Guo Jinlong, held a meeting on February 20 in which officials and police officers were told to ensure public safety during the two March conferences.
