Will Power Sector Reform Break Up State Grid?

(Beijing) -- China has flipped a switch for a fresh jolt of power sector reform that might break up one of the nation's transmission monopolies and liberalize government price controls.

What's unclear, though, is whether the initiative will significantly affect strongly entrenched special interests that run the nationwide power network.
