ICBC Promotes Head of Corporate Banking to President

A

(Beijing) – Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has named vice president Yi Huiman to replace Yang Kaisheng as president, the country's largest bank announced in an internal notice on May 13.

Yang, 64, has been president of ICBC since 2005 and will retire.

Yi, 48, started at ICBC in 1985 and has headed its branches in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Beijing. He was named vice president in 2008 and overseas ICBC's corporate banking business. Yi is also the chairman of ICBC's Malaysia branch.
