Marriage, Sex and Character

This week, the state-run Global Times published a thought-provoking piece of social commentary titled, "Never Sleep with a Virgin."

The article warns expat men from sleeping with Chinese women that are virgins because, the author goes on to argue, "a devirginized woman could [sic] be as toxic as the smog in Beijing."

The author then concludes with an overtly hostile attitude toward all women: "Condoms are just like women, they can be very annoying sometimes, but you can't have sex without them."
