Liu Zhijun Admits to Taking 64.6 Mln Yuan in Bribes

Former Minister of Railways Liu Zhijun stood a short trial in Beijing on June 9. Over the course of three and a half hours, Liu was accused of taking bribes totaling 64.6 million yuan and abuse of power. He accepted the charges and, in a tearful final statement, said he regretted having his life path derailed from developing the railways sector and contributing to the Chinese dream.
