Guotai Junan Gets PBOC Payment System Green Light

(Beijing) – Guotai Junan Securities has been approved as the first non-bank financial institution to join the central bank's payment system, a source with knowledge of the matter said.

Joining the bank's payment system means the securities firm can run almost all banking services except directly using investors' money to make loans, a broker said.
