Another China Mobile Exec Investigated on Suspicion of Corruption

(Beijing) -- China Mobile's head in Guangdong Province is under investigation for alleged abuse of power, Caixin learned, marking the latest development in the ongoing corruption saga of the country's largest telecom company.
Xu Long, chairman of China Mobile's Guangdong branch, was under the company's internal investigation since late 2012. Sources told Caixin that Xu's alleged misconducts relate to the 20 billion yuan in annual purchases made by the regional telecom branch under his eight-year tenure.
