(Chengdu) – The deputy general manager of troubled manufacturer of cables and wires in the southwestern province of Sichuan has died after falling from a high place.

The death of He Yuying, 44, is the most recent episode in Sichuan Star Cable Co. Ltd.'s troubles. The company's chairman, Li Guangyuan, general manager, Shen Ludong, and chief financial officer, Yang Ping, have all disappeared in recent months.
