Shanghai Party Boss: We Complement Hong Kong

(Beijing) – Shanghai's free trade zone will complement not only an effort to raise living standards in China's largest city, but boost business as well in the faraway port and financial hub Hong Kong.

Shanghai party boss Han Zheng, in an interview with Caixin, said his city's FTZ will not mirror business operations in more open Hong Kong. But he said the two commercial regions can complement one another.
