Caixin Summit: Locke Emphasizes Rule of Law in Speech

(Beijing) – U.S. ambassador Gary Locke said in a speech at the Caixin Summit that rule of law is critical to investors and businesses.

Locke, who recently announced he is stepping down early next year, said investors and business people were unwilling to tolerate arbitrary violations of the law and a lack of protection of their intellectual property rights.
