Coming Together

(Beijing) -- Both Europe and China are redefining themselves. One is recovering from the financial crisis, and the other has just launched a comprehensive reform plan. 

Ties between the European Union and China have strengthened in recent years. Trade jumped four-fold from a decade ago to almost 500 billion euros by the end of 2012, according to the European Commission. The EU is now China's biggest economic partner.
