Securities Firm Aims to Cut Commissions with Online Trading

(Beijing) – Sinolink Securities said on February 11 it will soon launch online securities investment and wealth management services in cooperation with social networking champion Tencent Holdings Ltd., setting off what analysts say is a competition to drive down brokerage commissions.

The Shanghai-listed securities firm signed a two-year cooperation agreement with Tencent in November. Details of the deal emerged only after Sinolink made the announcement.
