Consumption Will Be a Main Driver of Economy, Li Says

(Beijing) – Consumption, investment, trade and innovation will drive the country's economic growth this year, Premier Li Keqiang said in the first government work report he delivered to an annual session of the top legislative body on March 5.

At the opening meeting of this year's meeting of the National People's Congress, Li said the government will work to increase personal incomes in step with economic development and boost consumption driven by information technology.
