Use One Gaokao Test for Entire Country, Education Institute Urges

A Beijing-based education consultancy has proposed that the country adopt a unified college entrance examination and allow universities to enroll students independently.

The 21st Century Education Research Institute published its third reform plan for the test, known as gaokao, at a seminar on July 7. It published its first edition in 2007, and updated it in 2009.
