Film: How to Describe a Cloud

How to Describe a Cloud stiffly sketches the lives of a young woman and her ailing mother. Liling returns from Taipei to her rural village to care for her mother suffering from memory loss. With Liling's mother convinced she has a sixth sense, the film explores mysticism and the act of remembering. But questions of a kind of double consciousness are glossed over with ambivalence as Liling debates the treatment of her mother with a doctor.
