Second Major City Cancels Restriction on Home Purchases

(Beijing) – The capital of the eastern province of Shandong cancelled its home purchase restrictions on July 10, allowing people to buy more than one apartment in the city, sources in the government and industry say.

City officials told district bureaus to cancel purchase restrictions from July 10, said a source from Jinan City's Lixia District Housing Administration Bureau. This means there are no longer any limits on how many homes locals and outsiders can buy in the city, the source said.
