Meat Supplier Puts McDonald's, KFC in Food Safety Spotlight Again

(Beijing) – McDonald's and KFC are in the spotlight again over food quality after one of their suppliers was found using expired meat products.

Shanghai Dragon TV reported on July 20 that the meat and vegetable processing company Shanghai Husi Food Co. was found processing old meat, including chicken and beef, into fast food products.

Husi supplies meat products to McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut and other restaurants.
