Cabinet Announces Goals, Measures for Developing Insurance Industry

(Beijing) – The State Council issued a guiding policy on August 13 for developing the insurance industry, setting goals and implementing measures experts have urged for years.

The China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) has already set out a timetable for some of the measures mentioned in the policy in cooperation with other central government departments, sources close to the regulator said.
