Draft on Forming Property Registry Lacks Details, Expert Says

(Beijing) – An expert has criticized as vague a draft regulation for forming a property registry that the government recently published.

The Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, the country's cabinet, published the draft on August 15 so the public can provide feedback. The document says the Ministry of Land and Resources will supervise the registration work across the nation, and a unified system will be set up to allow government agencies access to real-time data.
