Gov't Set Rules for Doctors Providing Services via Phone, Net

(Beijing) – The country's health authorities recently announced guidelines intended to establish rules for doctors offering medical services to patients over the phone or via the Net.

The National Health and Family Planning Commission required "doctors to get permission from their organization and use the organization's online platform to provide long-distance services to patients that are not registered with the medical institutions."
