Film: The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom

A wuxia martial-arts fantasy set in the twilight of the Ming Dynasty, this classic tale based on Liang Yusheng's the Bride with White Hair offers swordplay and breathtaking special effects. In the opening credits, viewers get a close-up look at the artistry of digital animation at hand with an introduction to Fan Bingbing's starring role of the witch and her silken hair. Fan's character falls in love with the swashbuckling Zhuo Yihang, played by Huang Xiaoming and a story of star-crossed lovers is set in motion. The wavering romance among the two brooding characters takes place across several epic sets, but never gets lost in the rambunctious battles.
