(Beijing) – The average temperature in China last year was 10.1 degrees Celsius, a report from China Meteorological Administration published on January 9 says, half a degree higher than during the period from 1981-2010. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and nearby province of Shandong all saw average temperatures rise by at least a degree. The report said the country as a whole suffered through fewer smoggy days, but again the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was an exception, choking through 25 more.
