Embattled Founder Securities 'Cannot Reach Its Chairman'

(Beijing) – Founder Securities Co. has been unable to reach its chairman, Lei Jie, for several days, a development that comes shortly after a dispute erupted between the company's major shareholders, sources close to the matter said on January 22.

The company's parent, Founder Group, has also failed in attempts to contact Lei, the sources said.

Founder Securities published a statement on January 22 that said: "Since January 19, the company has lost contact with Lei Jie and that is expected to cause a certain impact on company operations."
