IMF Executive: China Must Aim for Highest Sustainable Growth

(Beijing) – China's economy will grow by 6.8 percent in 2015, the International Monetary Fund has predicted, while also saying the global economy will expand by 3.5 percent, 0.3 percent lower than an earlier forecast.

David Lipton, the IMF's first deputy managing director, said the challenge for China will be seeking the highest sustainable growth possible, but not necessarily the highest possible growth.
