Health Officials Propose Committee to Lead Drug Price Talks

(Beijing) – The country's health commission has proposed setting up a committee to coordinate drug price negotiations to address soaring medical costs and boost transparency in procurement.

The proposal was contained in a document that the National Health and Family Planning Commission drafted to guide a trial program for drug price talks between health care administrations and pharmaceutical companies.
