Closer Look: Indebted Evergrande Pledges Full Refund Option

(Beijing) – China's second-biggest developer by floor area Evergrande Group is promising homebuyers an unconditional refund for apartments before final delivery, in a bid to boost weak sales.

Guangzhou-based Evergrande announced buyers could get their money back at any time before the home is delivered, without any questions asked. The policy took effect April 16.
