Police Ministry Publishes First Report on Country's Drug Problem

(Beijing) – China's police ministry has published its first report on the country's drug use, trafficking and production, just before a day the United Nations has marked to raise awareness of the problems.

The report published by the Ministry of Public Security on June 24 said the country may have had more than 14 million drug users at the end of last year. More than half of all users were younger 35 years old, the report said.
