Graphics: AIIB Voting Stakes

(Beijing) – Fifty founding members of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) signed articles of agreement in Beijing on June 26 that brought the launch of the multilateral financial institution one step closer. The document says China will have 26 percent of the AIIB's voting stake, but does not specify the shares of other countries. Using the announced financial commitment of each of the 50 founding members and seven others waiting for finalize their membership and the rules set out in the articles, Caixin has done its own calculation of the shares.
