China Must Show Resolve in Combating Terrorism

The horror of attacks targeting the satirical weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris in January was still fresh in many people's minds when the French capital was once again hit by terrorism, leaving more than 130 dead.

The Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for latest attacks, just after also saying it killed Fan Jinghui, a Chinese citizen it took hostage in September. The Chinese government has expressed strong condemnation of Fan's death and the Paris attacks, which once again prove that terrorism is the enemy of all mankind and China is not insulated from the evil of IS.
