Most of World's Synthetic Drugs Made in China, Police Admit

(Beijing) – China is the primary producer of the world's synthetic drugs, the government has said for the first time, after coming under increasing pressure from abroad to deal with the issue.

Most synthetic drugs that are sold around the world are made in China, officials at the Ministry of Public Security said at a media briefing on November 26. The officials said the government is taking steps to respond to the concerns of other countries to deal with the problem.
