Parents Who Have Lost Only Child Gather in Front of Family Planning Commission

(Beijing) – A group of parents from around the country who have lost their only children gathered in the capital on December 1 to ask the government to increase the amount of monthly compensation they get each month.

The gathering in front of the National Health and Family Planning Commission on December 1 involved some 500 people mostly in their 50s and early 60s who have lost children to disease or accidents.
