Li Keqiang Expresses Confidence China Can Meet 2016 Growth Goal

(Beijing) – Premier Li Keqiang says China's government has enough tools at its disposal to prevent the economy from missing its growth target, though there may be bumps in the road in the short term.
Li, speaking at a news conference on the last day of an annual meeting of the legislature on March 16, said his administration has been pushing ahead with measures such as tax breaks and streamlining of the government in a bid to unleash renewed growth, and expressed confidence those steps would pay off.
