Vale's High-Quality Iron Ore Meets a Need for China, Its CEO Says

(Beijing) – Vale SA, the world's largest producer of iron ore and nickel, wants to play a bigger role in China's efforts to reduce emissions by supplying it with more high-quality iron ore, CEO Murilo Ferreira says.

In a recent interview with Caixin, Ferreira also talked about his company's strategies, new projects and cost cutting efforts amid increasing market volatility and political instability.
