King Norodom's Head

In its embrace of obscure tales from a small, misunderstood country, King Norodom's Head sheds light on the big, the epic and the sweeping.

It is a book focusing on curios and exotica, but it is also valuable because it is executed so well. The author, Steven Boswell, is an unassuming writer who lets the stories do the talking. He is however an utterly reliable and steady narrator who has no need of literary tricks.
